Welcome, New York foodie-bikers!

This meet up group has been through several incarnations. It has been a Harley group--but with Yamahas Hondas and a Triumph making up at least half the committed membership, that didn't fit. It was a Vintage bike group--but with the oldest bike being barely over 9 years old, that had to go by the wayside. The only common thread is we are riders, we love to meet new and different people and we all firmly believe that no ride is complete without a decent lunch, at least! We also form lasting friendships and we love exploring the countryside around New York City--the variety within 4 hour drive (mostly) of Manhattan is huge including Long Island, CT, PA, NJ.

Eventually this will become the new home for this meetup group. Why? Mainly because it doesn't cost $150/yr to run a group over there and has all the same features as meetup. David, the group's main organizer, was going to let this site go in January but I thought it would be a good idea to keep it running until riding season started.
